To change or not

If you had the choice to go back and change something in your past or the past of a loved one would you do it for yourself or would you do it for a loved one? You can only answer once and you can’t change your mind. What would you do?

We have all made mistakes. We would all like to be comfortable in life and how about healthy and pain free. What would you choose to do? Would you leave the past alone or would you change one thing?

I don’t think I would change anything because of the mistakes I made determined who I am today plus made my children who they are. I’m not saying that some of those were not extremely painful, but a lesson learned and a movement forward to better things. I truly believe that changing one thing would change the whole direction your life took to get you where you are now. Let’s just say you didn’t meet the father or mother of your children, you would not have the children you have now because they would be different as well.

The ripple effect no thanks I’m good. I’ve met some wonderful people throughout my life and each leaving me with a warmth in my heart. Then I’ve met some not so wonderful people that left me with a bitter feeling of just utter disgust. Those people make you want and desire to be better to do better. To have respect and understanding of why it’s important to be good to be humble, and to treat others as you want to be treated.

So that’s a no from me. The past is the past wouldn’t change it. No regrets.

As always these are my opinions and mine alone.
